This semi-automatic equipment is designed to be
operator loaded and then runs automatically to install a mastic/hot melt in an automotive seal.
 

Machine Overview
Injects Mastic/Hot Melt into center area of extrusion. Typically used on trunk seals and sunroof seals.
Note: This is offline secondary operation but machines can also be put online.  This machine can run a part every 30 seconds.
   Process Description

Operator loads extrusion into nest and steps out of light curtain and pushes palm button to start machine. Machine lowers nozzle into center section of extrusion and injects hot melt/mastic into carrier for the entire perimeter of part.
Hugger clamps against and pulls parts in complete circle. Sensors detect that complete uninterrupted line of mastic was made. Nozzle retracts and hugger releases part.
